Every morning at 9:27AM another post is published. If you are not subscribed, be sure to! Jesus is coming and we want to help the Elect to be prepared for this day and the time of trouble that the LORD Jesus warned us of. Every post we make is founded on Biblical Scripture and you are welcome to challenge everything we post. We are not masters of the Faith but are slaves of it. We could get some things wrong, we are humble enough to admit that. However, the prophecies are clear. We are at the end of the Last Day!

Anak is a figure mentioned in the Bible, primarily known as the ancestor of the Anakim, a group of people described as giants in the Old Testament. The Anakim are often depicted as a formidable and fearsome race. To stay updated about our posts on the #Nephilim subscribe. Here are the main points about Anak and his descendants:

1. Anak and His Descendants

  • Anak is the forefather of the Anakim, a race of giants mentioned in several passages of the Bible.
  • The Anakim are said to be descendants of the Nephilim, the giants referenced in Genesis 6:4. This association has led to much speculation about their origin.
  • Anak’s descendants, referred to as the sons of Anak, were noted for their great size and strength.

2. Biblical References

  • Numbers 13:22-33: The Israelites encounter the Anakim when Moses sends spies to explore the land of Canaan. The spies report that the land is inhabited by giants, the sons of Anak, and they feel like grasshoppers in comparison.
  • Deuteronomy 9:2: The Anakim are described as "great and tall," and it is said that the Israelites had heard the saying, "Who can stand before the sons of Anak?"
  • Joshua 11:21-22: Joshua leads the Israelites in a campaign to drive out the Anakim from the land. They are defeated and driven out from the hill country, though some remain in cities like Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod.
  • Joshua 14:15: Hebron, previously known as Kiriath-Arba, was a significant location connected to Anak and his descendants. Arba is described as the greatest man among the Anakim.

3. Characteristics of the Anakim

  • Known for their giant stature.
  • They were seen as warriors and inhabitants of fortified cities.
  • Their presence in Canaan contributed to the Israelites' fear and hesitation to enter the Promised Land.

4. Legacy

  • The Anakim were eventually subdued during Israel's conquest of Canaan under Joshua’s leadership.
  • Some Anakim remained in Philistine territories. This is notable because Goliath, the Philistine giant defeated by David, is often linked to the remnants of the Anakim.

5. Symbolic Meaning

  • Anak and his descendants symbolize fear and overwhelming challenges, but their defeat represents God’s power to overcome even the greatest obstacles through faith and obedience.

6. Cultural and Historical Theories

  • Some scholars and historians suggest the Anakim may have been a group of particularly tall or powerful people, leading to legends of their "giant" nature.
  • Others interpret the descriptions metaphorically, emphasizing their perceived strength and the Israelites' fear rather than their actual physical stature.

Anak and the Anakim serve as a significant part of the narrative of the Israelites’ journey into the Promised Land, illustrating themes of faith, fear, and the fulfillment of God’s promises.

Our Interests

Our interests in these people are what do they have to do with the Elect? We think this may have been a race of people created by the enemies of our God. Hence why he gave the order to kill every man, woman and child in these lands. We think that these may have been a race of people to combat the Elect. Hence, we think that in these last days they are being made to rule in high places in government. It is our estimation that these people unknown to themselves could be these creatures. Jesus himself said, and I paraphrase the LORDS words here, Let the wheat grow with the weeds until the last day and the angels will separate them.
