When you ask the average person about the day Jesus comes back this is what they usually say:
The Bible teaches that no one knows the exact day or hour of Jesus' return. In Matthew 24:36, Jesus Himself says:
Every morning at 9:27AM another post is published. If you are not subscribed, be sure to! Jesus is coming and we want to help the Elect to be prepared for this day and the time of trouble that the LORD Jesus warned us of. Every post we make is founded on Biblical Scripture and you are welcome to challenge everything we post. We are not masters of the Faith but are slaves of it. We could get some things wrong, we are humble enough to admit that. However, the prophecies are clear. We are at the end of the Last Day!
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.”
However, the Bible does provide signs of His return, such as wars, earthquakes, false prophets, and increased wickedness (Matthew 24, Luke 21, 2 Timothy 3:1-5).
Believers are encouraged to stay ready and live in expectation of His return. Matthew 24:44 states:
“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
Instead of predicting the exact time, we are called to be faithful, spread the Gospel, and live righteously until He returns.
Isn't this what they usually say? Seems like a talking point. A person starts saying this, then the next one and the next one. Although all this stuff is true, you have to ask the question, "What would the early Christians say or what would Jesus Christ Himself say now?
If someone has a basic idea about the coming day of our LORD Jesus, this is what they could rightly conclude without too much effort.
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. -Matthew 24:42
That is NOT a warning about setting a date, that is a warning to keep on the watch if you read the whole chapter in context. So these people that repeat this same hogwash are missing the whole point!
As we know, the early Christians had the gift of the Holy Spirit and prophecy! Yes, that is right, Jesus Christ sent them the Holy Spirit so that they could prophecy. They knew the future because of this. In fact not only them but the prophets of old knew as well. They spoke of it much! They did not know the exact day, but did they know the year? YES!
One of those early Christians that had the gift of the Holy Spirit and Prophecy was Barnabas! What did he tell us? He told us the end would come at the end of 6,000 years from the world's creation! If you want to read what all this early Church father knew, here is a link to his writings.
You can check out a lot of chapters in the Bible, they all point to 6,000 years as the limit for man. That year is 2030 to 2033! Lets look at Hosea's prophecy.
Notice the Cross reference. 1 Cor 15:4.
Jesus came at the end of the 4th day and into the beginning of the 5th day. We all know this because of the date. So Hosea's prophecy also points to 2030-2033.
Yes, we have a lot more prophecies but we cannot discuss them all in one article, but we will be covering many of them. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time, and this is what these articles are for. So you can enjoy each and every bite and not have to consume everything at once. Everyday at 9:27 AM another article is published.
