Not knowing does not mean that one is innocent. How can this be the case? To be ignorant means that you ignore things. Although this might be helpful in some ways, in other ways it can kill you. Ignorance has led to many deaths and much confusion.
Don't Be Ignorant
Isn't it true that many people are willinging ignorant? Then they claim that they are guiltless by stating that they did not know. What a cop out, especially when the guy next to them knows. Additionally, it can be something that is known worldwide and printed every day.
Basking in Ignorance
In 2021, around half of Americans reported reading the Bible on their own at least three or four times a year—a figure that had remained relatively stable since 2011. However, when researchers from the American Bible Society reviewed the latest findings from their annual State of the Bible report, they were shocked. The data revealed that approximately 26 million people had significantly reduced or completely stopped reading the Bible over the past year.

And that is only Americans. The number is far greater in the rest of the world.
No Excuse
There is no excuse to be ignorant. People today are willingly ignoring God's Word and even worse, they are telling other people not to read it. If you look at the countries that do not have a translation of the Bible, you will find some very poor people there. There are 8.062 billion people on this planet as of 2023. Of them there are only 128.8 million who do not have a Bible in their language. That means almost 8 billion people have access to a Bible.
When The LORD Comes
Imagine being one of the ignorant people when the LORD comes. What will they say? What kind of excuses will they give? Does it even matter? Their ignorance will not save them. Worse off yet are the people that took God's Word and corrupted it into something that it was never intended to be.
Blame
Blame your parents, blame your friends, blame society, blame your church, it will do you no good. You cannot blame anyone but the person in the mirror. If you are reading this you have access to a Bible right here. Do not be ignorant and spread this message of the Gospel everywhere you can.
