Every morning at 9:27AM another post is published. If you are not subscribed, be sure to! Jesus is coming and we want to help the Elect to be prepared for this day and the time of trouble that the LORD Jesus warned us of. Every post we make is founded on Biblical Scripture and you are welcome to challenge everything we post. We are not masters of the Faith but are slaves of it. We could get some things wrong, we are humble enough to admit that. However, the prophecies are clear. We are at the end of the Last Day!

The identity of "Babylon the Great" has been a subject of much discussion among Bible scholars, theologians, and believers throughout history. The term appears prominently in the Book of Revelation, where it is described as a great and powerful entity that opposes God and His people.

Biblical References

The phrase "Babylon the Great" is found primarily in the Book of Revelation:

  • Revelation 17:5 - "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."

  • Revelation 18:2 - "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird."

Characteristics of Babylon the Great

From the Biblical descriptions, Babylon the Great is depicted as:

  • A spiritual harlot, signifying corruption and unfaithfulness.

  • A global influence, associated with commerce, wealth, and power.

  • A persecutor of saints, responsible for the suffering of God's people.

  • A deceptive force, leading nations astray through false doctrines and immoral practices.

Interpretations of Babylon the Great

Throughout history, different interpretations have been proposed regarding the identity of Babylon the Great. Some of the most common include:

  1. The Roman Catholic Church – Many Protestant reformers identified Babylon the Great with the Vatican, pointing to its influence over nations, wealth, and religious corruption.

  2. A Global Political System – Some view Babylon as a world government that opposes God, enforcing a system of control and oppression.

  3. A Corrupt Economic System – Revelation 18 describes Babylon as a hub of trade and commerce, leading some to associate it with materialistic, greed-driven economies.

  4. An End-Times Alliance – Some believe Babylon the Great represents a coalition of religious, political, and economic entities working together to establish a New World Order in opposition to God's kingdom.

  5. A Symbol of All Apostate Religion – Others see Babylon as a representation of any religious system that deviates from Biblical truth and aligns with worldly power.

The Most Accurate Interpretation

1-4 Are pretty convincing however, the 5th one hits the nail on the head, does it not? The political system would not work because it is the beast that the harlot sits upon. The economic interpretation falls short as well because it has nothing to do with spirituality. The end times alliance does not work because Babylon the Great has killed all the Saints and Prophets of God and has been around a while. Although this end times alliance will happen, it is an end times interpretation. However, 1 is linked with 5, right? Yes, we can include any religion that deceives mankind spiritually.

Take A Look At What Jesus Said

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Luke 11:13-15

I believe that we here are getting some insight as to who Babylon the Great is! Yes, Jesus is speaking to the Scribes and Pharisees, however, the greater thing to understand is that anyone who performs such acts are just as guilty as they are.

The Fall of Babylon the Great

Revelation 18 describes the ultimate downfall of Babylon the Great, emphasizing divine judgment. The world mourns its destruction because of the wealth and luxury it provided, but heaven rejoices as God's justice is carried out.

What Does This Mean for Believers?

  • Spiritual Discernment – Christians are called to discern the true nature of religious and political powers around them.

  • Separation from Corruption – Revelation 18:4 warns: "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins."

  • Faithfulness to Christ – Believers must remain steadfast in their faith, resisting worldly temptations and deceptions.

Organized Religion

Let's examine how Organized Religions are created. 1st you start with a person who thinks they have an idea. Possibly a truth they have discovered in the Bible. It may even be true. With "good intentions" they start preaching, having what they believe is the calling from The Lord. In fact maybe the Lord did put this truth into their heart to share with other Christians. Sooner or later, what happens? They need money to fund their ministry. We see them all over the internet, we see them in Churches all over the world. They then take the gift and cash it in. Convincing people that they are called and chosen by God so now they need supported financially. Those few dollars turn into millions of dollars. Strange, I cannot think of one Apostle that was rich from their ministry?

Why Organized Religion is a Scam

Organized religion is a scam. It is someone cashing in on what the Lord gave them freely. They charge the Elect of God to hear the message. Then they lord over the people begging for money claiming that God, indeed, needs your money to further his work! This is the scam my fellow Elect. Notice what John says.

These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1st John 2:26,27

God does not need your money, pay your bills instead, give Cesars things to Cesar, but God's things to God. If you are one of the Elect, you are Gods things. Once you know, you know.

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. - Jeremiah 31:34

As the Elect, our job is to tell people about our LORD Jesus Christ. We can encourage them but we are never masters over another person's faith. People must make up their own minds. Does not the LORD Himself choose? If you are trying to recruit someone He does not want, are you not working against the Spirit?

You Need Someone To Teach You?

When I was a baby, I had to learn how to walk. Now that I am adult, why would I need someone to teach me how to walk? Once someone is introduced to the LORD that seed is planted. You can water it, but God makes it grow. We let the LORD work in each person, they have their relationship with Him. Once you start asking for money, your message is cheapened. We, on this site, do not ask for money, we do not want it at all, we refuse it! Our message is priceless and it will remain that way for eternity!

Conclusion

The identity of Babylon the Great continues to be debated, but its significance in Biblical prophecy is undeniable. It is our estimation that "Organized Religion"  represents a force in opposition to God identified as "Babylon The Great", that will ultimately face divine judgment. Christians are called to remain vigilant, faithful, and prepared for the fulfillment of God’s prophetic plan.
