Who, what, where, when & how? 5 simple questions that are constantly on our minds. A better thing to do is visualize it and that is what we have now. Although we do not have everything entered, we will continue to enter things as we get to know them.
The Timeline Now
So far on our timeline we have entered several characters & events throughout history. Their births, deaths and where they roamed. This helps us visualize more. Perhaps you were not aware that the Prophets Ezekiel and Daniel were born in the same year at the same place? Gladly you can now enter a characters name, or enter a date into the timeline and research. You can even navigate year by year to see events that have happened and who all were alive at that time. Again we have our work cut out for us, there are a lot of people, places and events to enter. If you want to help please send us your data and we will include it in our timeline.
Prophecy is Everything
When figuring out the last days and events, prophecy is everything. We find it all throughout the Bible. In our timeline we are entering the time the prophecy was made and the time it was fulfilled. We are also including references for people to research.
Time Line Features
There are several different features that will be helpful to you in your studies of prophecy. This is also helpful if you are just researching characters of the past.
Enter Name
You can enter a name of a person, the map will load and you will see notes about that person.
Enter A Year
You can enter a year, BC or AD. Be sure to use negative numbers for BC years. Like if you wanted to see Christ birth enter -6. This will take you right to that year on the timeline and load up the map. You can click to advance the years or click to minus the years. The map will populate markers as to where the person what during that year.
Map Terrain
You can choose different map terrains if you want to see mountains, lakes, rivers or plains.
Zoom
You can zoom in or out on the map. Sometimes if there is more than one character in the same place you will have to zoom way in to see them so they are not on top of each other.
Calendar
It may be useful for you to see a historical calendar. You can click on that button and load it up. At the top just enter a year, if you are looking for BC years, then enter a negative number just like on the map timeline.
Messiah Coming
As we edge ever closer to the return of the Messiah, we can stay informed of these events that are about to take place. We can do this by studying Scripture and the prophecies.
